Share ECG+ Premium with Family Sharing

If you have Apple Family Sharing enabled, your ECG+ subscription can be shared with eligible family members: so your family can use ECG+ without buying a separate subscription. Here's how to set it up, and what to check if it doesn't work right away.

Step 1: Set up Family Sharing

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your Apple ID (your name at the top), then tap Family Sharing. If it isn't set up yet, follow the prompts to create a family group and invite your family members.

Step 2: Turn on subscription sharing

In Family Sharing, tap Subscriptions and make sure Share Subscriptions is turned on.

Step 3: Confirm the right Apple ID

Your family member must be added to your Family Sharing group and signed in on their device with the Apple ID that's part of that group.

Step 4: Download ECG+ on their device

On the family member's iPhone, open ECG+ and go to the purchase page, then tap Restore Purchases. The subscription will be enabled automatically after a short wait.

Frequently asked questions

Can I share my ECG+ subscription with my family?

Yes, if you have Apple Family Sharing enabled and your subscription plan supports sharing. Eligible family members can then use ECG+ Premium without buying a separate subscription.

Why isn't my shared ECG+ subscription working?

Check that the plan you bought supports Family Sharing, that Share Subscriptions is on for the organizer, and that the family member is in the same family group and signed in with the correct Apple ID. Then have them tap Restore Purchases, and restart the iPhone if needed.
